Rockingham locals are spoiled for dog-friendly beaches and off-leash areas, great for a daily walk, but not built for a multi-day stay.
Our 20-acre grounds in Karnup give your pet real space, real supervision, and a team who’s been doing this since 1986:
Leaving your pet in someone else’s care is a big decision, more so when there’s a drive between you and Karnup. At Camelot, we’ve built our reputation on three things: experience, compassion, and consistency.
For Rockingham families, that means:
– Just 10-15 minutes from Rockingham’s beaches and foreshore, set on 20 acres in Karnup.
– Open grassed grounds to run, well beyond the reach of the beach car park.
– Separate accommodation for dogs and cats, with two kennel areas split by size.
– Daily exercise and enrichment, so beach-loving dogs still get to burn off energy.
– Trained staff on-site during operating hours, not a rotating roster of casual sitters.
Whether it’s a Penguin Island trip or a longer getaway, you’ll get clear updates throughout the stay. That’s the Camelot difference, and it’s why so many Rockingham pet owners come back year after year.
Whether you’re heading overseas, back to the office, or simply need a break, Camelot offers a full suite of premium pet care services tailored to every lifestyle.
A few things we need sorted before your pet’s first stay:

Own food (if supplying) — pre-portioned, labelled, +1-2 days extra (fee applies; free if vet-prescribed)
Bedding & toys — provided by us, no need to pack; we can’t take responsibility for personal items brought in
