Royal Pet Boarding for Mandurah's Canal & Waterway FamiliesWhere Mandurah's Pets Feel Like Royalty

Mandurah pets are used to spaces like canal-side yards, long walks along the water, and room to roam. Camelot Pet Resort gives them the same on our 20-acre grounds in nearby Karnup, with grassed play areas, supervised care, and a team that’s been doing this since 1986. A short drive from Mandurah, and your pet won’t know the difference.

Mandurah's Trusted Choice for Pet Boarding

Life around Mandurah’s canals and waterways means bigger dogs, bigger yards, and pets used to plenty of room to move.

Rather than a cramped indoor set-up, our 20-acre grounds in Karnup give your pet real space, real supervision, and a team who’s been doing this since 1986:

Room to move
Real grassed play areas, not a fenced yard squeezed between canal blocks.
Care while you're away
No casual house-sitters, just an experienced team on-site every operating day, whether you're out on the water or flying out of Perth.
Small dogs, their own space
Kept separate from bigger breeds during play, so nobody feels overwhelmed.
Decades of experience
A team that's done this since 1986, not a business still finding its feet.

Not sure if it's the right fit? We're happy to talk it through before you book.

Peace of Mind, Mandurah Style 🐾

Leaving your pet in someone else’s care is a big decision, more so when there’s a drive between you and Karnup. At Camelot, we’ve built our reputation on three things: experience, compassion, and consistency.

For Mandurah families, that means:
– Just 15-20 minutes from Mandurah’s canals and waterways, set on 20 acres in Karnup.
– Real grassed space to run, not a fenced yard squeezed between canal blocks.
– Separate accommodation for dogs and cats, with two kennel areas split by size.
– Daily exercise and enrichment, so canal-side dogs keep their routine while you’re away.
– Trained staff on-site during operating hours, not a rotating roster of casual sitters.

Whether you’re heading out on the water or flying out of Perth, you’ll get clear updates throughout the stay. That’s the Camelot difference, and it’s why so many Mandurah pet owners come back year after year.

Before You Head Up from Mandurah

A few things we need sorted before your pet’s first stay:

Vaccination — Dogs: current C5 certificate · Cats: current F3 or F5 certificate (minimum F3)
Flea & worming — recommended, not required
Behavioural assessment — a short pre-visit check before your pet’s first stay
Own food (if supplying) — pre-portioned, labelled, +1-2 days extra (fee applies; free if vet-prescribed)
Bedding & toys — provided by us, no need to pack; we can’t take responsibility for personal items brought in

It’s about 15-20 minutes from Mandurah to our Karnup grounds. Allow a few extra minutes at drop-off so our team can properly settle your pet in.

Pet Boarding for Mandurah Families

How far is Camelot from Mandurah?

Around 15-20 minutes’ drive — we’re set on 20 acres in nearby Karnup.

Can I board a dog and a cat together?

They’ll stay in separate areas — dogs in our brick kennels split by size, cats in their own Royal Cattery away from the dogs.

I just need day care, not overnight boarding — is that an option?

Our small-dog schedule is much gentler than the large-breed groups. We prioritize lap time, short exploratory sniffing, and frequent cuddle breaks.

Do I need to bring my pet's own bedding or toys?

No need — we provide all bedding and toys. We recommend leaving personal items at home, as we can’t accept responsibility for anything damaged or misplaced during the stay.

What do I need to bring at check-in?

A vaccination certificate (if not already on your pet’s profile), any medications clearly labelled with instructions, and — only if supplying your own food — pre-portioned meals with a day or two extra (a fee applies for owner-supplied food; no charge for vet-prescribed diets).
